Watching this episode after watching the most recent cap decoration episode that used the white toner transfer printer and the vinyl cutter. Deciding witch I should invest in first!

Love the video and I’ve been experimenting with CMYK and heat transfer vinyl and was wondering what are your thoughts? I print transfers in CMYK and I use white htv for my white layers and it almost acts like a Roland design. Another way to use best of both worlds.

How do the transfers hold up after being washed?

Hi! The white toner printer can last around 50-60 wash cycles.

You said the design made with Luminaris last 50 + washes, then way all my design made with Luminaries after first wash looks destroyed, maybe because of the paper with adhesive doesn't have enough, or because of the heat press, which I press for 45 seconds at 310? Thank you

I have the same issue with white toner and it’s pretty common as far as I found. There are videos on KZbin that helps improve this. Example in your design you can remove the black color when pressing onto a black shirt. Rasterizing or halftone your design. The reason is that water can pass through the garment without cracking the design. I also found washing with soft detergent and in hand wash mode in your washing machine helps. I also hang dry my shirts and they seem to not crack.
