Parker will be too clever for Dubois. He's improved a lot. He moves around, he can hold and make it messy. He's got good mobility. This will be a tough fight. Parker won't be susceptible to the overhands the way Joshua was.

Parker has extra incentive now that Dubois ran into he ring and made a fool of himself challenging Usyk after Usyk had just won the biggest fight of his life ans was scheduled to fight Parker first. Dubois has definitely improved over recent years - but everything seems somewhat forced and he doesn't improvise well. Parker is cool and has that quiet confidence. Parker, while wanting to win, just wants to take challenges and prove people wrong.

Confidence is one thing, but overconfidence is another. Parker isn't impressed by Dubois' recent run because he's been on a similar journey. In fact, Parker has fallen even farther from grace with more significant losses in a longer career. Dubois is the easiest top fight Parker could get in terms of skill/experience gap, and he won't be letting it slip. Dubois is at least aware enough to see past the nice guy Parker act, the dude is looking to shack up the World just like he did

they are probably the best two in the division and can beat everyone else...although Zhang, Kabayel and Usyk are still a challenge. Parker has better defence now, more tactical and his conditioning is better than before, mind is better than before and he is already explosive, very durable, mobile and has good punch variety... But Dubois is also now very confident, fast, explosive, mobile...and probably more durable than people think, Dubois has youth on his side. I expect Parker more likely to win, but Dubois has power to beat anyone.

@@kingsleyo I like Parker A LOT, and I bet on him to beat Wilder… but I think Dubois is all wrong for him. Dubois has got an engine in him and a new found dog in him too. He weathered the storm against a relentless Miller to get a late stoppage and was outboxed by Hrgovic and eating right hands for 4/5 rounds before turning the fight on its head and beating Hrgovic up late. Even if Parker boxes well Dubois will get to him eventually, and he won’t gas like Zhang did.

To be fair Wilder’s fight before Parker he brutally dispatched Helenius in 90 seconds… I think Parker exposed him to the point of no return with decent skills & tactics… Parker has got quite a bit of experience now, he’s been in with most of the top heavyweights of his generation & used to spar with Fury… I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he got a win over Dubois, & then Hearn got a massive hard on for him to fight AJ for another attempt at the belt…
