I would have been there somewhere. I was in Form 5L Rylance House and ran in the 100m, 200m sprints 110m Hurdles, 4x100m relay as anchor man and sometimes as fifth event alternating long jump triple jump shot putt discus and high jump until 1968 when I couldn't master the Fosbury flop . I last visited the site in 2015 the sports ground was still there the school buildings gone and replaced by residences.

I was there too, ( Sally Edwards) mingling in the crowd somewhere. Where did those years go?
