I'm a die hard , old school, Journey fan and Steve Perry's voice is one of a kind . I've heard this song covered by others , including the guy who took over Steve's place in Journey once Steve left and thought , nope they're not Steve . That is until now . I love this one, it will definitely throw you back in your seat . Heath has such a powerful voice . Now this is what I call natural talent !!! So glad to know it still exist . Steve is for sure a legend... I do agree with Brian too.. I love this acoustic version with a bit of his country twang.. One of my all time favorite bands..... im 38 and ive been a fan for years. This song got me thru all kinds of losses. It always reminded me of my 1st love she ended up moving away and we lost touch rite after she got outa high school. This song always reminded me of her. I can’t think of anything else but a way of paying a tribute to Steve Perry; and if you’d thought about that too before recording this video we are grateful for that too!! To me Steve Perry is a live legend, he made Journey, and its legacy which has deep roots of unforgettable memories for generations. As of today, my children (13 and 10) stick with me listening Journey’s greatest hits. Steve Perry vocal capabilities is beyond the high standard in the music industry!! In my opinion of course, Perry stands head to head and toe to toe with another great rock legend who’s left us a while ago Freddie Mercury!! Pass it on guys…, and if you ever have a chance to bump Perry around, let him know how much we appreciate everything he did for the love of his music, his passion, interpretation, and of course his charism.
