I don't think I'd ever seen Vader look as happy as he did during that match with Slater. As soon as he came out and heard all the cheers he was walking on clouds. The little "you remembered!" he said after the match was one of the most heartwarming things I'd seen in a wrestling ring. Love Vader, and props to Slater for making him look as strong as ever!

I met Sid at “for the love of wrestling” and he was great. I was wearing a Michael Bolton t shirt for shits and giggles. Sid looked and says “Michael Bolton huh? I used to pay against him a soft ball league, he’s a great pitcher and a hell of a nice guy”. A conversation I never expected to have with Sid. Also in late 96 I was on the isle for Sid Vs Owen in Manchester. I was the person Sid picked out to do the fist bump thing with. I was 20 and a super fan. I loved that event. My friend who was with me got a hug from a jobber called Rocky Miavia or something, not sure what happened to him. I definitely won that one getting the Sid fist bump.

When you're not a main event guy it really seems like you outta be creative and Heath really seems like an open-minded, creative guy, I'd like to see him return to WWE at some point in the future.

Heath didn't even think of the negative repercussion of being squashed by a legend who's nowhere near his athletic prime where's he's gonna be looked at as a jobber. He just wanted to fulfill his childhood by having a match against the legends who he watched as a kid. Respect. And added respect for his match with Vader for helping him look like 90s Vader even for just a moment. That was a great redemption sendoff match for Vader.

Heath's warmth is apparent. And amazing. In an industry rampant with egotistical assholes, he stands out as being an 'outcast'. Which is quite ironic now, but I appreciate him for what he did and it can't be easy being mostly a 'jobber', but it feels like Heath just lived out a childhood dream with gratitude and excitement and that pours forth. Quality guy :)

Jay Lethal had a great run where Impact would bring in semi-retired legends who he would put over. I think that included the great promo with Flair.

Big Van Vader The Mastodon Vader 6 foot 5 and weighs 450lbs) In my opinion the greatest all around big man...he was fast, swift, agile, can do flips, had speed, strong as an OX, and he was a big star in NJPW...one of the most feared men in Japan. Former WCW Champion and monster. For me it's Big Van Vader! 1# Vader 2# Bam Bam Bigelow 3# Yokozuma 4# Mark Henry 5# King Kong Bundy 6# Earthquake 7# Rikishi 8# Umaga 9# Viscera 10# One Man Gang

Im with Heath ! I would have done it with a smile ! It would have been a different story if Slater was set for a big push or something . But he wasnt . Plus he is getting paid to live his dream as a WWE wrestler . So yeah , in his shoes that would be a mega bonus to get squashed by those legends !!!! Hell , I would do it for free ! But im just speaking about me .

I can't say that Heath makes my favourite wrestlers list and I always enjoyed seeing him get beat but wrestling definitely needs more people with his attitude than someone like CM Punk who as a character and a talent I do like but as a person I honestly believe that he has been as much harm to wrestling as he has helped. Especially regarding how fans nowadays approach the product. Wrestling is too exposed and a shoot approach to interviews and promos isn't necessarily a good thing in my opinion. Once in a while it creates great moments but too much ruins the mystique.
