Never in 1 million years after the Syracuse loss would I think Miami makes it to the playoffs. Bought a Notre Dame Miami game in the playoffs would be amazing for college football. Grant, a huge factor in the loss was the scoop and score off of X's fumble. Without that score Miami most likely wins the game. They were driving on syr and had MIami scored its a 14 point swing in the game. Which means it would have been a 10 point game just as the line indicated.

Absolutely Miami should be in the playoffs before they let in ANOTHER SEC team with 3+ losses, and bad losses as you pointed out. We all know the story behind Miami's D, however our 2 losses are close losses AND GT could have beat GA, given a lot of weight to that loss on the road to a team that almost beat the cream of the SEC crop. Yes, I think if Miami plays the way we have seen - they can make a run in the playoffs - dare I say win it with some good luck.
