For people who are looking for alternatives for the f and FM chord: After am, shift to a fm7 and do the strumming pattern from the beginning ONCE. Then place Ur second finger on the first fret of first string and second finger on the third string first fret. Finish the strumming pattern with that chord. Note: this will sound EVER SO SLIGHTLY different from the recording

I used to see F and Fm and panic or avoid the song or find a way around it, and that was only 2 months ago, now switching to it is second nature. I find the best practice is songs like half the world away by Oasis, or all I want by kodaline, or literally just switch between C and F, especially if using the Thumb variation of F, and just practice switching from there because C is easiest to switch from I find

Great tutorial i love it! It's so easy to follow! But even though it's easy it's still hard for me to play the chords but If i practice real hard everyday i could maybe be able to play it well some day! For people with short fingers like myself, try using the fmaj7 (so much easier) and for the f, just press the E, B, and G strings on the first fret (after the capo on the 5th) as a option. Warning: I think you should still practice the other chords in this video, I just put a momentarily option (specially if you are on a schedule to learn the song)

GREAT NEWS beginners I just watched Conan’s acoustic video and he didn’t have his thumb on the F chords. So that should be a relief I would just start focusing on 4 main fingers. Once you master that move to the thumb, I’m also a beginner and that’s what I plan on doing! Thanks for your time
