What an amazing blast from the past this is ! When I was little I used to stumble through my parents' record collection and this often got a play! Lord knows how they got it....its so rare, but an undiscovered little gem. A unique voice that I always associate with part of my growing up years. Thanks for finding this again, I never thought I'd ever hear it.....please could somebody find "No One In The Whole Wide World". And Heather, if you're out there...come back to us !

Fun UK fact fans, this is a cover of Hortense Ellis' recording, first issued in UK (1963) on the "R&B" (Rita and Benni) label. Rita and Benni also created and issued the "King" label so they also produced and published this version.

I found a copy of this rare single on King Records some years ago and bought it out of curiosity. It's a rare item and has two excellent tracks, the other being "No One In This Whole Wide World. It plays well too.
