Agreed. Nothing wrong with sharing wealth when you’re married, and for any children they have together, to inherit their wealth when they die. However, if they divorce after only a few years of marriage, it’s ridiculous that the spouse is able to take so much of their ex’s wealth. If she married a road sweeper (nothing wrong with having that job), she wouldn’t have got anywhere near that money…What’s the difference ? What’s his past financial success got to do with his spouse, especially if they are no longer together ? As a lot of marriages fail, and could financially ruin somebody, no wonder marriages have declined over the years.
