Grandma Jess (Geraldine Fitzgerld) catches Carol Anne
Drawing an unusual face that she can't tell her anything
about. Jess asks her if she wants to become an artist
when she grows up. Carol Anne isn't too happy about
growing up, but then Jess insists that growing up is
wonderful and reveals a secret ability she's had since
she was Carol Anne's age. Carol Anne reluctantly admits
she has the ability too and their bond of love becomes
all the more stronger.

Wow. This is a really good scene, as well as very beautiful and inspiring too. :) I remember the TV movie *Circle of Violence: A Family Drama* where Geraldine Fitzgerald starred as Charlotte Kessling, the mother of Georgia Benfield (played by Tuesday Weld). Unlike Charlotte in Circle of Violence, as Charlotte was revealed to be very abusive to her daughter Georgia when she was younger (and was in denial about it until she finally realized the truth and confessed about the abuse she inflicted upon her while apologizing for it, while Georgia also apologized for abusing her), Grandma Jess Wilson is very sweet and loving with Carol Anne, and was the same way with Diane when Diane herself was younger. That is quite a difference there, and it shows that Geraldine was quite an actress too. :)
