My 22 year old daughter set up a soup kitchen for the homeless 4 months ago, started with a dozen visitors and a handful of volunteers now it's full to capacity and the generosity of volunteers is overwhelming. When it says 'What have you done today to feel proud?', I intercept the quote as that there is a achievement that has been fulfilled in each one of us. And not just about winning an award, coming first in a race solely, it's also the mistakes we make that we reflect on and will always aim for the best. This song was also written towards the Olympians who has every right to be virtuous in oneself for they pushed themselves over their limits in whichever sport they've done.
