Of course, I feel a little tinge of disappointment knowing I missed out on a few I had really wanted, but couldn’t afford. However! This is literally THE BEST eyeshadow palette collection video ever Heather!!! Doing it by year is so awesome because a.) The memories are amazing and b.) It helps me remember palettes I've wanted in the past and helps me decide if I still want them (if they're available) or if I have other things that are similar! Eyeshadow palettes have always been my absolute favorite thing in makeup and I can't get enough of collection and ranking videos, but something about this video made seeing your collection even better! I also love that you don't declutter for the sake of decluttering! This was so fun to watch. I'm actually watching it in 2 or 3 parts because it's so long. Since you asked...I have every Colourpop palette ever made, including quads and quints, except for Hola Chola. They pulled that before I could get my hands on it. I do look for it to complete my collection, but I'm not paying over $100 like they are asking on Mercari or Poshmark. And this made me so nostalgic for a time when Glamlite created collections instead of just collabing with IPs.

Omg I'm only 15 mins in and already have seen so many great throwback palettes! I looove the Dream Street palette from Colourpop and Kathleen Lights, I just used it for the fourth of July lol. It has that perfect red and blue. Also omgggg the Carli Bybel extended palette will always have a special place in my heart. That palette is what started my love of makeup. I ordered it as a fluke from an instagram ad because it was actually on sale for super cheap. I wanted to try highlighter, and there were 4 of them in the palette so I figured it was a good deal. It was literally on sale for $15 or $20. Never would have guessed the passion for makeup that one purchase started. I took that palette with me when I went to Ireland with my mom and my grandma. My grandma thought it was so pretty and was asking me questions about it and BH. It was a great little bonding moment. Her and my mom are both gone now so I'm so thankful for the memories. Heather thank you for sharing this with us, it was clearly a huge undertaking. But it really makes me happy to see these palettes again and hear someone else discuss their love for them ❤️

1:08 I started to get into makeup more in 2017. At that time, I wanted all of the UD Naked palettes. I don't know how I ended up not getting them all, other than I couldn't buy everything I wanted all at once. I got the Naked Smokey from Nordstrom Rack. I also got the Naked Ultimate Basics palette. Smokey has been moved to my memory box, but I still have the basics palette in my active collection. I actually used it to finish off an eyelook this morning. I'm now glad that I didn't end up getting all of the Naked palettes as my eyeshadow game is mostly indie brands. 🦋👩‍🦰

I WISH I had more of the BH travel pallets and some of the others that have been discontinued. I do have a huge eyeshadow pallet collection as well. There are many that I have only used once or not at all and they are all in the original packaging. Some of these pallets have AMAZING packaging that really draws me in. I use the four colors from xenon: nightsky, ebb, snowbow and Skift with the ND My Dream palette. The shades don’t look grey when using them with browns! I guess nightsky is metallic black and it still looks like that. But snowbow really looks pinky blue next to warm browns!

😊Wow!!! Awesome video 🎉🎉🎉thanks for the efforts. Maybe silly to say but I'm so happy to see someone else keep old palettes😅I also have a lot of older palettes and I have trouble getting rid of them. Some formulas stay good forever especially MAC, Too Faced and Tarte. And I love using my Tarte and Too Faced holiday edition palettes. I also have quite a few (older) Korean eyeshadow palettes long before it became trendy in the West, so much fun packaging but also a lot more versatile and fun colour stories than the same old 3 brands and palettes everyone talks about on Tiktok.

My oldest palette is an all shimmer palette from the brand Viva La Diva from Sweden, I think I got it as a christmas gift by my grandma in 2008 or 2009 😂 it doesn't smell or act weird or bad, but I would say that I got a lot better shimmers nowdays 😂

I joined this all makeup madness only towards the end of 2021 via Angeschka’s channel, when ordered first from Oden’s Eye not knowing what I’m about to get. 😆 So watched her video to the oblivion. 😂 Around the time when Freja collection arrived to me, I bought as well UD’s Ultraviolet, which I was eyeing for a very long time. It was okay, but OE just blew my mind once I just put my finger into the pan to swatch it. I was, like, damn, there’s actually great quality colourful shadows! 👀 Even at work people started to ask me, where did I get these sparkly shadows, it was a jackpot! I sometimes wish I’d be stepping in this realm earlier, however, been going through some stuff and trying loads of things. But watching your 2h long video of you showing the palettes through out the time, and hearing the stories behind them is wonderful. It’s been a long ride for all of us, and even recently I told to someone that makeup seemingly has been around us for forever, but it has changed it’s game during the last 10-15 years indeed thanks to youtube and influencers. Thank you for this video, it’s amazing!

I have all the palettes from the BH Say it collection except for 1 and I think the packaging is fine. What annoys me more is that the back of them all look the same (white with the BH logo) so I have to take them out to see which one is which.
