Can you add instructions on how to turn this into a cozy for a mug? Should I add a row of chains and a button on the other end?
@HeatherCorinneCrochets Жыл бұрын
I don't currently have specific instructions for mugs with a handle, but your idea could work! Give it a try. I know there are also tons of other designers you could search how they make them for mug handles and adapt the pattern. Happy Holidays! 🎄

Can you do this for a coffee mug or do you have this tutorial for a coffee mug with the handle
@HeatherCorinneCrochets11 ай бұрын
This pattern is designed to fit a standard reusable coffee mug, but you can adjust the stitch count to fit different mugs. I do not currently have a specific pattern for a handled mug.

I’m following your tutorial, but I want to make it for a regular mug instead of a travel. Do you have any guidance on how to adapt this to fit a regular handled mug?
@HeatherCorinneCrochets2 жыл бұрын
Hmm, you could make the rectangle of the cozy base to fit around your mug, but instead of stitching up the seam, make a loop on either end to fit around the handle and hold it in place? Or add a little button and a loop that goes through or around the handle?
@nmason420 Жыл бұрын
I did the loop and it worked great, thank you!!

Did you skip the stitch closest to the hook after chaining 35? How does it turn into 34?

You'll start Row 1 on the 34th chain. The 35th chain gives you the space to turn. I hope that helps!

@HeatherCorinneCrochets3 жыл бұрын
Hi Candy! You're so sweet! You could easily create a pillow with this design. Just single crochet enough rows to the width and length of your preference and then stitch on the tree and use a larger button. You could also use bulky yarn for a bigger project.

@HeatherCorinneCrochets3 жыл бұрын
Hi Maria! Yes, at the end of each row we will chain 1 and turn around. The best way I've found to make sure the ends don't end up crooked, is to make sure you have the right stitch count on each row. Hope that helps!
