You could use super bulky yarn and a larger hook to make it bigger. Happy Holidays! 🎄

If the goal is to make it larger, I would try using bulkier yarn and a larger sized hook. Increasing the chain number could work but you'd have to also increase the size of the arms, legs and star which could be challenging without a pattern.

How do you see the star on without the yellow yarn being seen in the back?

I try to pull the stitches tight enough where you don't see them through the back, but there may be a little peeking through. It doesn't have to be perfect!
