I am looking for something with the same quality of a DSLR but the user friendliness and recording length capabilities of a camcorder, and a working white balance function. Haaaaalp me. Also I apologize for all the cuts, and the mouth breathing, and the chapped nose (I was a bit under the weather when filming this, and I tried to edit out anything I thought would disrupt your enjoyment). Heather Feather ASMR I'm a Canon fan and use a 7D Mark 2 (their highest-end crop sensor camera so it can take EF and EF-S lenses). Honestly though for DSLRs the much cheaper T5i, T6i or T7i (700D/750D/800D) are all widely used by vloggers and look great. Having quality lenses which can open wide (f2 or thereabouts) for the super shallow DOF - or stop down past f8 without being too dark - are what give you the superior quality picture for HD video. Snapsort, thedigitalcamera and various sites like that are useful for direct comparisons. Some of the best sites have pretty in depth reviews and sample images and videos plus compare latest release models with the ones they replace. Perhaps you want a camera which can do continuous focus in video mode? That'll limit your selection. In consumer grade cameras it seems Nikon DSLRs still edge out Canon like-for-like so that's something else to consider. Before we all get super mega nerdy though... What's your budget? Don't care about swapping lenses? Perhaps just a Coolpix, Cyber-shot or PowerShot with external audio input is all you need. The Sony DSC-RX100 V is almost the same price as a prosumer DSLR, takes fantastic videos and photos but is an amazingly compact camera with a pretty good lens on the front. I ultimately realised whilst shopping around for my 7D that it's all about what compromises you're willing to make to get all the other features you really want... Do you already have DSLR kit or several decent lenses you'd prefer to keep using? Head to the photography reddit, discussions for days!

So I woke up, and am reading comments, and I saw someone say they didn't know I liked Steven Universe. I thought "well that's odd, considering there's a Steven Universe section of this video." BUT THERE'S NOT. One of the triggers I filmed has mysteriously vanished from this video, and there are only 9 objects in it. WAT. I have no idea how I managed to do this, but it appears I have deleted an entire segment of this video before I rendered it---so there are 9 trigger objects in here. I am really sorry. I will just have to do another sound assortment to make it up to you.

Hello! Popping into say hi and let you know new videos resume this week! I ended up buying the GH5, and after some tests, I found that it needs to be returned for a new one. It's on back order, so I will still be using a borrowed camera to make vids until I can get a working one of my own. I am so sorry for the delay. I used to watch her videos every night to help me fall asleep, she was the only asmrtist I could actually get tingles from. When she stopped posting I basically stopped sleeping and was very depressed about her leaving. I still am and I just want heather feather to know, if she is reading this, which she is most likely not, but if she is and might be going through something which is making her not post, I just want her to know that I am here for her. I personally don't like Intros/Outros in ASMR videos. I know a lot of people use them, but when I'm watching one of these videos, I use it as a way to relax. And the Intro is just something that I have to endure or skip over before I can get to the actual content. And an outro kinda feels out of place where just simply fading out from the actual video eases me to sleep. I'm fine with silent outro boards, though. I understand it's a way to brand your content, but it really takes me out of the experience.

Honestly, words can't even begin to explain how much I love Heather's content and personality. I never seem to get bored of her videos, for the reason that it's Heather, who couldn't love her. There should be an ASMR convention where most known ASMR artists would do ASMR live either solo, or collaboration style, like Gibi ASMR, ASMRrequests (Ally), HeatherFeather, GentleWhispering, Asmr Darling, ASMR Glow etc. Would be freaking epic. To meet them all and new and unknown ASMR artists on the making and experience the tingles in person.

You & I get paid for what we do. Some donors pay in gratitude for what she has already done. Many artists continue to earn from past works (e.g., actors & residuals). If her patrons don't think she's keeping their bargain, they'll stop. And patrons do typically get better communications than we 'freeloaders.'

I just find it frustrating because the core fans love her for her voice. Not for the elaborate roleplays, not for the racks of props, not for high end filming equipment and the pro studio. Just her doing a breathy whisper of random facts. But we get that once per year, which is not filling demand. Maybe she should consider allowing people to purchase custom videos like a lot of others are doing now. Then people like me could support her and get what we want at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I love Heather and respect her decisions no matter what. I just rely on her breathy whispers to sleep at night and I've heard all 4 of them 500 times now.
