Hi friends! It's been a while since Doctor Feather's office was open, so I hope she takes good care of you, because I suspect she was nervous :P. I tried to make this medical role play a bit different than others I have done (I think it's important to keep trying to improve), so I incorporated a scientific ear model, and some extra sounds during certain parts of the exam to help make it feel more realistic---in the sense that I hope it feels like I am actually sticking an otoscope in your ear, or blowing in it, etc I got a ton of good feedback from my last video when I increased the gain of the mic, so I kept the gain up for this one. Your feedback is essential to creating the best content I can for you, please let me know what you like. #YouWillNeverGuessHowIMadeTheOtoscopeInYourEarsSound #IGotFloamInMyHair #ITrippedALot #ICouldNotStopSneezing #DrFeatherNeedsADoctor #AndCoordination

This is because your left ear has been trained to listen to words, and your right has been trained for noises. This is subject to almost all people regardless of handededness. Try it, have someone talk to you can cover your right ear, then try it with your left ear covered.

You know, what I really, really love about this channel and your videos: you don't make videos based on scientific bulls**t like acupunture, chakras, reiki and whatever. Even though I love other ASMRtists' channels as well, I just cannot completely relax when someone is "stimulating my root chakra" or whatever. As a scientist, it just makes me mad everytime. Thank you, Heather!

+Tob Nick I hope you won't hate me, but I have a Reiki role play planned O_O They trigger my ASMR so much, so I thought I would try my hand at one. If it helps, think of it like a zombie role play or candy queen. You don't have to believe in it to tingle from it.

From what I gathered, when people get ASMR, its a tingling sensation in their head... but I've never gotten that. When I get ASMR is starts from my neck and shoots down the the right side of my rib cage on my back. I have hearing loss in my left ear, so I'm sure I would get it on both sides of my back if that weren't the case. It kinda makes me jump, but it doesn't happen very often. Does any one else get this type?

This hearing test was the best one yet for me because it didn't assume that I can hear with both ears, I have a very vivid but not very fantastical imagination so when my answers are contradicted in a roleplay that can make it harder for me to relax but this was really good at asking open ended questions that allowed my deafness to work with the video. I know heather has a lot of background knowledge on gems, and all those that are mentioned are gems. so maybe it's not about Steven universe but common gems.

+Monica Reckless I would agree, but Garnet is a fusion of Ruby and Sapphire so if she named those in order, that's a red flag. Plus if she said jasper, as garnet fights jasper in the season 1 finale.
