28:01 this is hard to hear Brandy and Julie’s takes. Being frustrated for the inconvenience of nosey neighbors. I’m an alcoholic in recovery, and when I heard this story I also felt sad, bc self destruction is so common and destroys lives and relationships. I was in a 17 year abusive marriage. He yelled, choked, pinned me down, spit at me, threw me across the room. He never punched me. I was not beaten. One day, a neighbor called the police. He was arrested. I had to go bail him out, so he didn’t loose his job. It was the first time I considered myself abused. Before that happened, I thought I was ALMOST abused. I filed for divorce within a year of that incident. I always thought… one day he is going to punch me, then, I will leave. That never happened, but my feelings of being abused, were finally validated, my eyes opened. All thanks to a nosey neighbor. 🤷♀️

My level of love for Heather, Brandy and Julie is so great, and I don't think I have ever disagreed with them. I listen to the JS episodes of B&J over and over. But my wonderful ladies are dead wrong on the James issue. As a domestic violence survivor, and a former attorney worked on hundreds of domestic violence cases, and the truth is abusers choose to abuse not due to substances, childhood trauma, etc.. And it gets worse and it is never a one time deal. The comments are making me feel better because people get how erroneous their take on this is. And if you are commenting less than 12 hours after the episode drops, you are likely a diehard Juicy Scooper, like myself, so I am impressed at the reasoned disagreement with the gals we love, not weirdo fans that support everything they do like fans of a certain cruel, backstabber, with a Sirius show.

Brandy is so wrong on JK. Look up Suzanne Simpson missing in San Antonio since 10/6. A neighbor saw her husband grab her outside their home and force her away. Her husband has been charged with her murder even though her body has not been found. They did find her DNA on one of his saws (that he hid) & so they think he dismembered her. She had a 5 yr old & 3 older kids. Imagine how bad her neighbor must feel. I understand people don’t want to get involved, but a simple 911 call might have saved Suzanne that night. James has had plenty of opportunities get some help. I did see a pic yesterday of Allie moving some stuff out. Agree!! They were NOT defending or saying DV is okay. I felt like Brandy was showing compassion for a person dealing with addiction. That’s it. These comments are not it.

I'm sick of people saying that bloke, came from a wealthy family. It doesn't actually mean that you're wealthy or that your family would pay for your surgery.
@BethFed3 күн бұрын
He wasn’t even a participant with United Healthcare. He had no pain after surgery and it was successful. When people say that they mean if anyone had a reason to be angry towards an insurance company it certainly isn’t someone with options and opportunities to pay. He wanted to save the uneducated peons and thought he was smarter than the regular person

@@BethFedTo be fair, you don’t know if he had pain or not unless you know the guy. Up to 30% of fusions fail, meaning the hardware fails to fuse w your bone. I’m 44 and have had 3 c-spine fusions since 2017 plus a laminectomy so I speak from personal experience. My 2nd fusion failed and it gave me a year of excruciating nerve pain, due to the impingement. I saw a YT Dr say his imaging showed a failed fusion based on the hardware visual. You don’t get your spine filleted and not go through serious pain….

Heather, love all of you. Haven't read the comments--but Heather, you were spot on. If it indeed was the neighbor who called--he or she did hear something or see something, that person did exactly the right thing. Think about Suzanne Simpson--whose neighbor actually saw her husband hit her and drag her into the woods---and didn't call.

To me, this was definitely a cringey take on the James thing…..HOWEVER, to skewer them over their opinion is also getting old. Can’t we just chill out, and ask them for a re-think on it rather than get so dramatic. Better learning opportunity IMO ….

This is DISGUSTING. Heather hasgone beyond being irrelevant and desperate to being downright disrespectful. Comparing her stolen earring situation first to JonBenet Ramsey and now likening it a Purple Heart?? Shame on you Heather. I wish you the success you deserve.... and as we see from her recent guests, she's getting exactly what she deserves.

If we are going to have this compassion for James making a mistake, Sandoval and Raquel deserve the same compassion. Honestly, I don’t think any of them deserve compassion until they’re working to fix themselves.

Glad that Heather disagreed with Brandy and Julie on the James/Ally getting the police called thing but disappointed that Brandy and Julie still concluded the convo by saying they feel bad for both Ally and James. We actually don’t need to feel bad for repeat abusers. That sympathy is what allows it to continue and has enabled it for years. I felt a kick in the gut when I heard them say they felt bad for James

I’m with Julie! PK totally had something to do with the robbery and that’s why he couldn’t understand or relate to why Dorit couldn’t get over the fear and trauma of what happened. If it was real and that happened to me and my kids, my husband would have been so much more understanding and protective. He would have been just as traumatized for his family.

Brandy & Julie, what??? Outcome of domestic violence is death. Do I need to say more? Even with a restraining order one of my students killed his girlfriend this year. He was the first one to preach kindness and respect. Now they both lost their lives.
