I honestly think heathers has a better movie to. It was what the musical was inspired by. Mean girls was inspired by Heather's. While mean girls was more quotable, it was never as good as Heather's. Mean girls might have bad more comedy , but for crying out loud they had amy Poehler in it! She is a comedian. Many stories like Heather's have happened before, irl. Not exactly , ofc. Both movies are unrealistic. But some people can relate a little more to Heathers tho. Heathers just has a more interesting story to.

@Ponian KZbin Just because something was made first doesn’t necessarily mean that It’s always 100% better than something else that branched off of it. Ofc I love both musicals, but in terms of relatability and comedy, Mean Girls takes it for me. Heathers has a very beautiful but dark storyline, but I’m entitled to my opinion that I am more drawn to Mean Girls. FYI, Mean Girls was based off of Queen Bees and Wannabes
