I love this song the first time I heard it, it has so much meaning behind of it. And I'm still listening to it today.

I think Brad & Lindsay ELL & Keith Urban beings they are all great singers & the three best guitarist in country music should all do a new song together where they can all show off their vocals together & individually & show off their great guitar skills together & individually. Lindsay is going to be a superstar!

There's just something about that country twang, Its such a nice change of pace at times. Excellent. That's what you call a 'Power Dual." Loved it!

Lyrics: She put him out like the burnin' end of a midnight cigarette She broke his heart, he spent his whole life tryin' to forget We watched him drink his pain away a little at a time But he never could get drunk enough to get her off his mind Until the night He put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger And finally drank away her memory Life is short, but this time it was bigger Then the strength he had to get up off his knees We found him with his face down in the pillow With a note that said, "I'll love her till I die" And when we buried him beneath the willow The angels sang a whiskey lullaby La, la, la, la, la, la, la La, la, la, la, la, la, la La, la, la, la, la, la, la La, la, la, la, la, la, la The rumors flew but nobody knew how much she blamed herself For years and years she tried to hide the whiskey on her breath She finally drank her pain away a little at a time But she never could get drunk enough to get him off her mind Until the night She put that bottle to her head and pulled the trigger And finally drank away his memory Life is short, but this time it was bigger Then the strength she had to get up off her knees We found her with her face down in the pillow Clinging to his picture for dear life We laid her next to him beneath the willow While the angels sang a whiskey lullaby La, la, la, la, la, la, la La, la, la, la, la, la, la La, la, la, la, la, la, la La, la, la, la, la, la, la La, la, la, la, la, la, la La, la, la, la, la, la, la La, la, la, la, la, la, la La, la, la, la, la, la, la

Sounds like a lot of fun. Did the real thing sound like this with bass drop muting everything? But MAN, Lindsay has some fat tone on that axe. Ala Gilmore. Pretty too. I was glad when Brad swapped out for electric so we could hear both. I'm trying to find more of this girl. Lindsay seems to be a rare real gem.

Yes. When Lindsay conquers the world, remember where you saw her first! I was channel-flipping one day in '14 and saw her video for "Shut Me Up". (Here in Milwaukee we have a country-themed over-the-air digital channel that shows just country videos) Instantly hooked. Looks and talent. Been following her success ever since.
