Heathkit HW-16 and UAF-42 Active Audio Filter

Lately, I've been on a nostalgia trip using the gear I started with as a Novice in 1973. A friend recommended the UAF-42 active audio filter to enhance the selectivity of the HW-16. So, I ordered one from Ebay and broke the audio in the 16 at the product detector. I removed the 25 turn pots the filter comes with and used 10 turn pots and cheap turns counting dials. Great addition to the "Novice Corner" of my shack. Fun to use too if you like fiddling with controls and dials!
