Just in case you didn't see it, the keel scrapes down the back crossmember of your trailer. Some pipe insulation around that crossmember would help. Great video!

So looks like a fun little boat. Looking at the transom where the motor mounts. If you hit something solid would the transom and motor still be there or be laying on the bottom of the lake? Could be a dangerous situation with the spinning prop running directly behind your back on it’s way down.
@FishingWithHeath11 ай бұрын
It's a pretty solid transom!

The seat looks low on it like it would be uncomfortable, what was you impression? Were you able to stand up and cast, stability overall? How difficult was it to load back on the trailer? Thanks, good video.

Easy to load back up. VERY stable! I wanted to add a standing rail to it so I could stand and steer. I would add a little butt bad to be comfortable for longer.

Greatly enjoyed the video, very informative. I've been looking at getting a Bonafide SS127 with an Xi3 but after watching several videos about the two different brands of Skiffs, I've been leaning hard now towards a Skiff. Noticed you said you got rid of the skiff and i am looking at an honest review regarding the kayak. Despite having issues with the motor, what other issues did you have with it?
@FishingWithHeath7 ай бұрын
I really didn't have any issues other than bending the back black rail and replacing it. If you check some of my recent videos, I purchased a 30+ foot bus to renovate and had no room for this boat plus the trailer I keep it on. I had to slim down on a few toys to work on new projects. I actually really liked this thing.
@Rxking7137 ай бұрын
@@FishingWithHeath yeah I noticed the bent frame on the video. I've been eyeing one of these to add to my arsenal and just wanted to see a true ownership video of the pros and cons. Only thing I noticed is how high the bow gets when going at a high speed. Is there a fix to that? Thanks for the quick reply. Great videos.

I have a quick question as I am new to boating, other outboard models have a switch from the internal gas tank to the external. I noticed this one only have transport mode (off) and ON mode. how do you choose between the internal tank from the outside tank, if Both are full and connected? I kind want to use external as the main tank and keep the internal as "emergency" but how do you choose?
