On this transit train can you ride up and down? When I was waiting for my plane at Stansted I took a ride on the train and found that I could not get back. The return trip is for passengers arriving only as it goes to the exit. I got trapped at the gates that were not the ones for my plane

Thank you very much. This was the information that I wanted to know. I would like to ride this system. Maybe I should email heathrow and ask about it. I am not sure what they are like about giving people tours of the system. Last time I was in heathrow me and my friends were kicked out for playing with the lifts and putting the key in the automatic lifts to make it go non stop from departures to train level skipping arrivals.

Sounds like Straight Cut Gears. Not common on new public transport trains. Only on very old trams.

Where is the train coming from at 0:06? Does Terminal 5A have a turn back area that the public can't see? I know at the other end of the line it just reverses right on the platform
