Our Heating Style Smart Thermostatic Heating Element and T-piece allows you to convert your central heating towel rail into a dual fuel towel rail. This means that your radiator can be heated both by the central heating system and electrically by the heating element. This is a useful feature as you can heat the individual towel rail without having to turn the central heating system on, therefore saving you energy and money on your heating bills. It also means you won’t have to use cold, damp towels in the summertime when you come out of the shower and the boiler is switched off.
Unlike standard heating elements, ours comes with multiple temperature settings ranging from 40°C to 65°C and a 2-hour boost button. You can even program it over a reoccurring 24-hour time period, giving you ultimate heating flexibility.
In the event of a power failure, it remembers the most recent settings used making it suitable for connection to new or existing intelligent home systems.
To find the right Smart Element for you, choose from two colours, chrome or white. Then select the wattage that matches your towel rail output as closely as possible. There are three variations; 300W, 600W or 1000W.
