Who's Right? Us Or British Gas??
2 Different Opinions On This Baxi Potterton Boiler Repair. But Who's Right? British Gas or Us. Lets Find out.
This channel is to help engineers fix boilers. I try and teach boiler repair for the betterment of the UK gas industry. The better we are the more work we get.
This Baxi Combi Boiler had be diagnosed by two different heating engineers and now its time to find out who is right. Boiler repairs are not easy and everyone makes mistakes. This video is not a criticism on the repair engineers. Gas boilers are complex and servicing and troubleshooting them can be a difficult task. Common UK boiler brands such as Vaillant, Ideal, Worcester and Baxi all have more obscure models and this is one of them.
Unlike the USA our boilers are all high efficiency and more technology makes for harder diagnosis.
For videos on Burnham, Weil-Mclain, Peerless and Lochinvar find a US Channel.
I typed all that for better keyword and YT ratings. Lets see!!
Here are a few affiliate links to some of the stuff I use everyday.

Thanks for sharing ollie, really enjoyed listening you on the podcast and great to see you showcasing your knowledge again it is very much appreciated. Its a shame too many engineers these days would just talk the customer into a new boiler in a case like this, when it can easily be something simple like a microswitch and a step by step diagnosis. All the best for 2024 mate

Great video, as you said from the start the Baxi lights go through the operation sequence, that should give any engineer worth his salt a massive clue to what’s happening, or at least a starting point, must admit though I wouldn’t have had the patience to clean that micro switch, Id be visiting the merchants, but fair play the customer had been messed about enough and you got it up and running there and then. Keep the videos coming👍🏻

Great to see you back Ollie, your videos are always enlightening & your skills are unquestionable. I’ve always admired the variety of Boiler Breakdown videos you have produced. I know you prefer Commercial stuff & financially, for good reason!! It’s sad the number of perfectly serviceable boilers that end of the Grass, due to the guys with limited repair knowledge & wanting to make a fast buck with a boiler swop. Please keep the domestic boiler repair videos coming mate & thanks. May I wish you & the family a fantastic 2024.👍👍👍👍

Thanks, I have quite a few filmed already so I have also to get out. I Hope I will get enough domestic work to make a video every week. I also think you can make more money fixing boilers for people and still get the replacement in a few years time. The installers are short sighted because the warranty's will ruin them in the end.
