So the internet does what it does and shipped them. Ship name being Dreamnotfound. A particular fanfic labeled "HeatWaves" I think, got really popular. So the fans of the fanfic found this song that had the same name AND it was also vaguely about love. So you can expect how they'd react. I feel bad for the author since I don't think they ever wanted this to happen.

Heres me trying to explain the way this song makes me feel: i heard about this song and the rest of glass animals through dnf( don't kill me i was just interested in why this song was associated with dnf) anyways i checked out the rest of their songs and now they are my favourite band. But its just something about this song. Just everything about it. it always stuck with me. The lyrics are incredible they really mean alot to me they connect you to them you can almost feel it. You can amost feel the music. The opening with the little " sometimes all i think about is you, dont stop baby you can walk through, dont want baby think about you, you know that im never gonna lose" THOSE LYRICS OMG and the effect on his voice and the quiet nostaligic background music is beautiful then it has this beat stop which makes me feel just AHHH its definetly my favourite opening to a song. The way the background music for this song is crafted its so FCKING GOOD I CANT EVEN JUST SAYING THAT FEELS LIKE I CANT GET ACROSS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS SONG AND HOW MUCH IT MEANS TO ME.
