I’ve now noticed a similarity between P4 and P5 in the dungeons. before all goes to shit/the game reaches it’s climax, the dungeon before that has lyrics, it’s more personal since it’s from a character you know, and the song is a banger.

I played P5 first and was really surprised by how similar its structure was to P4. In some ways it seems like P5 lifts the foundation of P4 and simply tells a different story using it (which I can't blame them for, it must be hard pacing a game that takes place over the course of a year)

tbh heaven is P4s best dungeon theme because all the best music in p4 is just in the overworld, like Heartbeat, Heartbreak or Confession. in p5, almost every dungeon theme is a total slap, where in p4 honestly most dungeon music is just kinda irritating, like Rise's strip club theme.

This is the best part of this game. I love this game to death but despite that, this is what I see as the best part, especially in Golden which is the worst of the enhanced editions not counting The Answer story for P3FeS. That said, this isn’t about FeS, this is about the second best base Persona game in the modern trilogy. Everything from the buildup to Adachi and Namatame, the mysterious letters, the fact that they actually made Nanako 100% die for good in one of the bad endings, and just the fact she temporarily flatlines at all... Not to mention Teddie’s whole arc after AND the dungeon itself being the second best in the game, with the only one I’d argue better being Magetsu Inaba. To top it off, it has the best dungeon music in any Persona game that isn’t just symbolic, but great to listen to and was properly made unlike some songs in 4 and 5.

Nanako walks to school every day, and does all the grocery shopping. Inaba is shown to be a very hilly region. Like the women of Brazil, Nanako probably has very strong legs due to her environment. Or maybe it's just how the artist draws legs.

im always aware when Shoji Meguro does a soundtrack, they all use a lot of the same writing techniques, genre cues, and occasionally similar melodies so to me P4 and P5 have just very similar soundtracks--but i also agree that this is probably the most P5 sounding P4 song.
