Apparently, The Angels in this series created Hell whole-cloth after Lucifer and Lilith’s stunt with the apple, so hypothetically speaking, NOBODY should have EVER gone to Hell to begin with.

The Angels didnt create hell by choice. It was Lucifer who created hell by accident as a consequence of evil finding its way to earth because of the apple incident. In Charlie´s story from episode 1 she says "As punishment for his reckless act, Heaven cast Lucifer and his Love into a dark pit HE had created". Heaven can exil angels to hell and have free access to it but they did not create it.

I've been wondering if God even exists in the Hazbin Hotel universe. There's no mention of God anywhere in the show other than cursing. None of the angels talk about Him and the lore stated in the show says that the other angels casted out Lucifer and Lilith, not God.

I have a head canon that its the same universe as the show Preacher. God is just missing, or otherwise not speaking to anyone. XD

During the opening scroll in ep 1, they say the angels worship light and protect from evil while showing two faces, one pure white with closed eyes and a red one with open eyes. These two are probably God and the Devil in this show but are definitely a different interpretation that possibly made the angels but not Earth or humanity.
