The Torah has 3 main sections describing the festival of Sukkot (Tabernacles) and each mention reveals an emphasis that God is wanting to teach us in this season. #1. Remember that I put you in booths, basically remember the wilderness trials. Don't forget who you are and your God, and what he's done for you. #2. Reflect and rejoice in the Goodness of God. Bring others with you provide for others. #3. Read the word of God. God wants us to gather in this time to hear God's word. Teach your children the word of God and tell the stories of His salvation. Join us as Dr. Erez Soref dives into the traditions and teachings found in this powerful festival and the prayer for God's rain to come.
Join us and help us uncover the truths of the Gospel to Israel and the nations!

I usually do not communicate anything in a comment section because of how some people negatively behave, but I feel that I must tell you my opinion. I have watched many of your messages and absolutely love listening to One for Israel! I am a Black Christian woman, who grew up with Jews, Catholics, etc. and non believers (of course) in my small town and did not experience any racism. There were also no anti-Semitic acts. Today, I realize how blessed I was to be surrounded with so many nice people. I was taught as a Christian to love your neighbor as yourself and even your enemies. We have to pray for everyone, (as we all fall short and need one another?. I love listening and learning from your messages AND from two other Messianic national and international broadcast TV stations and you tube channels.. This specific video really touch my heart because you also talked about your families, which I could relate to. I enjoy learning about the meaning of Jewish holidays. I learned as a child that the Old testament and New Testament point to Jesus - Yesuha and to Adonai/ Our Father - fulfilling what was already written! I look forward to the day that we will all be together in love and harmony. I wish that I could visit Israel again, perhaps not as a tourist, but to take a course!Keep up your encouraging words to all nations. Salom.

Ladies. His Majesty has a very strong face and wavy white hair down to the collar of His dazzling white robe. Sandals on his feet ,like he is ready to go , and broad shoulders and even sitting He appears to be at least 6ft 4in and the complexion..I have had to look hard to find anyone close. If you look up the documentary "Cobra Gypsies" of Pakistan.. there is an older Gent with white hair and the dark reddish/brown complexion of a shepherd whose days are spent in the full sun. He is Handsome and Wonderful and you will see Him with your own eyes ! And no one will have to tell you who He is ! 😇💖

So that literally means that as long as we are on earth we are in our Suka and the Son of God humbles himself and came into our Suka and will come again to take us back inside the House, the House of The Lord. Being from India, it fascinates me so much to have been made understood that we serve God who invites us to His table and not only that, He comes and dine at our table too, how amazing is that.

So good! Please pray for my family, friends. I was cut to the heart listening to this because i desire unity in my home, but there is disunity. When I went to Israel, YHWH did an amazing work in me and told me I would hold a husband in one year. I met my (now) husband and did marry exactly one year later. During our friendship, Israel drew us together. He loved the Holidays of the LORD and learning about Gods ways, but after marriage, he shifted to almost despising israel and the Jewish people and the Old Testament. A teaching took over his heart. Close friends of his began taking in a particular Bible teacher who "reasons" away Old and New Convenant promises to Israel as belonging only to The Church and Jews of Faith, and that all prophesy is completed, all during 70ad. Its really brought devestation into our marriage and now we are very divided. There is a spirit of religion and fear that has come in. I desire to remember the Lord and celebrate feasts of the Lord bc I love the Lord. But there is MAJOR resistance. It so breaks my heart. It is also VERY exhausting, like a weight, trying to do anything spiritual in my home because of this open door to offense. I have to do it all and along with having young children, ive given up. Its been too hard and too painful. The sad thing is is that my husband still wants to take in this man's teachings and keeps close with these friends and its been very difficult. Please pray for unity in my home and freedom from the Holy Spirit in every area! Thankyou

Sister... I feel your pain, my situation is slightly different, but the verbal opposition along two young children to care for & hopefully raise in faith has been tough. I too felt & often still feel that everything rests on my shoulders or else everything would go to ruin. They don't see the blessing & grace of the Lord, only what they want to see. How the LORD has blessed me though, through His REST. It took a lot of effort for me to "walk away" from controlling the outcome & just focus on LOVING them the best I could. And that led me to the further revelation that I could only DO that, if I received a ton load of LOVE from the Father - cos I was worn thin & just was so hurt etc. I couldn't find it in myself anymore. But GRACIOUS GOD said, "Come to Me; you who are weary & heavy laden; I WILL Give you REST" & I did. Now, I put All my cares into His hands (I don't ignore them, I recognise the triggers & challenges & take it to Him straight away) & then leave it up to Him - I can't, but He says "I AM". Entering the LORD's REST is Not easy, but the amazing results of softened hearts & lessons learned that I've seen amongst a "stiff-necked" people is mind-blowing, it certainly renewed my mind to His Ever-Present & REAL HELP in times of need. And in the mean time, the LORD even gives you distraction & inspiration to KEEP you by His LOVE. Keep pushing into HIS Heart for you Sister, where HE will truly Satisfy Your Heart. He LOVES us... PAINFULLY. And He will Never Leave us Nor Forsake us; Closer than a Brother; Better than a Friend... He is our Forever Bridegroom & we are His Eternal Bride. REST & Receive Sister, in Jesus's Mighty Name, Amen. 🙏🤍🙏

I am not a Jewish, but I could imagine if all Christians get to know the Jewish traditions like Sukkoth and Yum Kippur and participate in them like Jewish do in Israel or elsewhere, it would be awesome. I trust that Jewish faith is deeper and meaningful because God chose them, so the traditions have a depth as well. Thank you one for Israel Ministry for your insights ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏

Leviticus 23:1 The heavenly Father declares that these Sabbaths, feasts and appointed times are His. Therefore they are for all of us. The native born and those who are are grafted in. Without studying or practicing these wonderful festivals we lose out on so much of the beautiful story of our redemption and the ultimate rejoining of all of Israel. We also miss the glorious significance of being echad (one) with our Messiah and our Abba!

This was our first year celebrating Sukkot and it was fantastic, even though our Sukkah fell down!! I am thankful for the ways our God gave us to understand these core concepts of the faith. It enables us to remember which things are important and what to hold onto...as well as what things to be more comfortable letting go of. Thank you, One for Israel brothers and sisters for teaching us the legacy and this important history. I'm so excited to be starting over reading God's Word all over from the beginning and looking for the ways we can see Yeshua all through scripture. We love you and thank you for the work you are doing. God bless you and your mission to Israel.

@Only 1 Way, but surely you have read in Leviticus how these Feasts/apointed times SET by God to meet with ALL who call themselves by His Name, are even for all Eternity regarding this Feast of Sukkot. Or, have read Romans 11 where we are grafted in to His Tree, the One New Man? The Tree Root is Jewish. Hebrew is language of God. "To the Jew first and then to the Gentile". It is not too late. Do not let the compromised "Christian Church" rob your blessing! There are Hebrewic Roots/One New Man congregations/fellowships where Jew and Gentile worship and learn of Yeshua together. Your life will be enriched a thousand times over to find one. We will be held accountable before God, not the Church who deceived us.

You mentioned how they were to thank God when they built houses and vineyards and such to remember to thank the Lord. We had a practice we did in a Messianic congregation to thank the Lord after the meal of Erev Shabbat. I guess we also did that because of what we all have been taught, praying before meals and such. We still do that because I'd forget if I had to remember to thank the Lord after our meal. I wish I remembered to do that all the time. God is so good!! Shalom Aleichem Mishpocahs ❤️

O how I mourn for Israel, for the abominations done in it, by it, and for it. Ezekiel 9:4 "O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter (western) end!" Deuteronomy 32:29

I love to be closer to God's chosen people.. One day I'd like to meet with u my brothers and sisters in One of Israel. The Festivals of our Heavenly Father are so rich in commemorating His plan of salvation, and only half fulfilled as yet. Sadly, the Church robbed her people of the Biblical festivals and God's lunar calendar, substituting Lent, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Advent, Christmas and Sunday worship, full of pagan symbols and customs in a solar calendar. But He is doing a wonderful thing, teaching the Jewish people that Yeshua is the Messiah, and teaching Christians that His Torah is not "done away with". May hearts everywhere embrace faith in Yeshua and obedience to His commands and be ready for His soon return!

Thank you. 7:24 This is is a good translation. I know it similar in deutsch. Deuteronomy 11,11 but the land whither ye are passing over to possess it, [is] a land of hills and valleys; of the rain of the heavens it drinketh water; YLT but the land, whereunto ye are passing over to possess it, is a land of mountains and valleys, which drinketh water of the rain of heaven, Darby

I go to the book of 1 John. Those of us grafted in, should be acknowledging and doing His feasts.🕎

The midnight of the first evening of Sukkot is when Jesus returns to collect His harvest of the earth and raises the faithful dead . All meet him in the clouds and He takes them on a journey lasting the period of Sukkot where He shows them all or some of the other worlds that have not ever separated themselves from the Father's will. I think this is done to give the saved an insight into what life in God's will can be like. On the 8th day they are presented before the throne room of God . This is why it was compulsory for all to attend, for all the inhabitants of the new earth will accompany Jesus on that journey.

All believers in Messiah Yeshua have been grafted in to Israel. Just as Rahab, Ruth and the mixed multitude who escaped Egypt with the Israelites. All who chose to follow and love the God of Israel became Israel. Then they were expected to keep the feasts and the Torah. “There shall be one Torah for you and the stranger who is among you.” Leviticus 24:22 “You shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the Lord your God.”

Im a born again Christian(gentile) and I really love watching/listening your pod cast. Though as a gentile we don't need to convert to be a Jewish to follow Jesus, but I'm so interested in your Jewish culture and traditions as I read them in the Bible. How different it would be to practice it in real life as you do.

I agree that we should study the Old Testament. The old and new are connected. Maybe we should, as Christians, acknowledge Sukkot. We too often forget to be thankful and grateful to the Lord.

Thank you for teaching. Personally I think we as Believers from the nations as grafted in should also keep the feasts of Adonai, He says ‘the stranger within your gates’ And as one in Yeshua we are one new man no Jew or gentile just one so those days are Gods days things we should love and celebrate. And as they are depicting Yeshua and events still to be fulfilled we should follow Him even into His keeping of Adonais feasts. Just my opinion ❤

Hi🤗, I'm wondering if it's offensive to Messianic Jews if we, as gentiles, begin to celebrate the Jewish festivals? I've honestly been compelled to begin to learn about them and celebrate them, even if they're simple. I'm part Jewish, but I know that means gentile if I'm not 100%. Thx so much for al this great insight!👍
