I love watching planes take off, especially when I know I am going on a plane in a week to Dubai and Male. :-) I love the hustle and bustle at the airports and I love boarding the plane, sitting on the tarmac waiting for take off and then taking off. The difference of the noise level of 747 (3:24) and A380 (5:27) is awsome. The A380 is so quiet!!!

***** The 747 has a very shreaking sound. The 777 is generally a loud plane at takeoff (but silent at approach) . The 787 is a very quiet plane. I have never heard a 787 or a A380 in real. I can only say what i saw in videos. In Cologne / Germany we have 747-400F, 777F, MD11F, 767ERF, 757F and a lot of B738, and A319 and A320. We had 747-8F for a short time from British Airways, but i heared it only from my home, 10 Miles away from the airport at approach. That was silent, too. I can´t wait for the A319NEO, A320NEO A321NEO and 737MAX :-) :-) :-) Sorry for my bad english... :-( Greetings from Cologne, Germany, Fred

I didn't know anyone still flew passengers on the MD11. That and the Martinair were looking good. A300 too. Nice to see some different machines to the ones we get at Heathrow. Great sound, great action, great everything!

This video gets my vote on three counts: 1. you stay focused on the fuselage much of the time (and not half a screen width in front of it), 2. we get a chance to see the registration number on most of the aircraft, and 3. we get a bonus aircraft ID with screen text overlay! Great stuff!

Wide mix of big jets, I liked the MD-11 of Martinair (I film those as much as possible at London Stansted at the moment!) and the Emirates Airbus A380. You have a good location for filming here.
