Plowing or plowing is the oldest and most frequently performed basic soil preparation operation in which the soil is mixed, broken up, turned and loosened. The plots are plowed once or twice a year on all cultivated soils with cultivated plants. The basic tool for plowing in modern enterprises with plant production is the plow.
Meaning of plowing:
- Turning the soil dump - the upper part of the topsoil is moved to the bottom of the furrow and the lower part to the surface.
- Incorporation of plants and weeds that emerged after the substrate - organic and industrial fertilizers, or green fertilizers and all post-harvest residues that were not incorporated at the substrate are also incorporated.
- By turning the soil mound, plant pests and diseases are destroyed - at the bottom of the furrow, they have minimum conditions for life.

Thank you, yes, it is very nice. The soil is very compacted and not in good condition. For many years, this plot of land has been used only for corn silage, even though there was pumpkin there last year, so there is no organic material, and heavy plows during silage removal and the plowing itself do not help.

The plot is already plowed, when it is wet you have to wait, of course, but it will be drier only when the frosts come or in the spring.

@@AntonFujdiak It will help; I used to plough with 1.2 bar front and back. I switched from Michelin to Vredestein Traction. At low pressure the Vredstein let’s go of the soil much better than the Michelin’s. Result: much better grip, less slip. We had a farm with tough clay soil, retired now… ps: I don’t know how low you can go at the back considering the weight of your plough. I had air pressure on the tractor, so I could regulate it myself. On the road I could put the weight of the plough on a wheel in half turned position (Lemken), so I had no weight pressure at all on the road.

Prima regola x preservare il bene più prezioso x un agricoltore consapevole è lavorare il terreno in tempera. Equivale a dire nelle giuste condizioni. Megli secco che bagnato. Tatta eccezione x quei terreni dove la componente silicea, Sabbia supera almeno il ,,65%. Nei terreni prettamente argillosi solo quando sono super asciutti. Dal video si deduce un terreno non adatto a essere lavorato con il bagnato.

Buona giornata, vero. Questo appezzamento ha un terreno ghiaioso e sabbioso. Tuttavia, la coltivazione a lungo termine del mais per l’insilato senza l’aggiunta di materiale organico ai baccelli e l’aratura costante hanno già distrutto i baccelli. C'è stata un'aratura dura perché era abbastanza umido, ma anche perché lì il terreno è molto compatto. Grazie per il tuo commento e buona giornata.
