This is why I love sound designing in massive sessions before to have an entire library of sounds so you can do this. This is what producing is, being able to piece together a puzzle into a song. Sound designing while producing will ruin any flow you have going unless you can sound design quickly and efficiently

You should really just do a video on how you navigate Ableton so fast. Creating midi tracks, changing the grid size, etc. I know there are hot keys but damn, it looks like you've made some changes to make it easier/faster.
