Amazing! But I have to ask a stupid question: doesn't Amsterdam have a crosswind runway? It seems like an unnecessary risk to have planes landing with the wind howling from one side. Of course it lends itself to great videos like this one!

it does, it has 5 runways rwy 24/6 and 27/9 are the crosswind ones over the STANDARD 18/36R/C/L However not all of those have ILS for them eg 24 or there is simply too much traffic for just 1 or 2 runways to handle so often planes will have to land with crosswinds

I find it EXTREMELY annoying that KLM haven't retired PH-BFW 'City of Shanghai ' but they have axed thier 747s flying to shanghai, and no offence but nothing was better than a bit of a 90s feel on a 747-400M flying out of Shanghai something i used to do yearly especially compared to a 10 abreast 777.

Excellent video, thanks! Here's a technical question, do you use a very small aperture setting and a hyperfocal point, and then work the zoom to keep the plane in the frame? I don't see any focus hunting at all. Thanks.
