Would be nice to know how the load is distributed across all those axles and what features the trailer has. Maybe your trailer video will have that. I'm not a trucker so don't know much about load distribution. I do have a pilots licence so I know about weight and balance, but trucks are not aircraft.

@@c1heavyhaultrucking Start out with a 3 axle tractor, and a 3 axle RGN 55-60 ton...something I can grow with but not out grow to soon

@@Earnyourday From personal experience, running a 55 ton rig, you want to be as short and light as possible. You have to take all things into consideration. A setback front axle with a short wheelbase works well. If you're staying mostly on good road, 40k lb Rears and a midrange steer(14k - 16k) will be sufficient. Heavy frame, but not necessarily double frame, again what kind of terrain you will be on will help determine what you will need. If you're adamant on running a 6-7 axle rig, a 45ton trailer is about all you going to be able to run to maximize your capacity. If you want to break into the 50-60 ton freight your going to need a trailer that is capable of adding a stinger, booster and even a jeep up front in some places(Georgia,Arizona,cali) it's all relative to where you are and what you want to do.

@@Earnyourday an XL-60 is a 30ton if im not mistaken. If you're staying in the US and not running Canada the wheelbase is not that important. When I was talking about the shortest wheelbase, I was thinking of running a jeep and booster. In that realm you want the shortest setup, reducing the # of escorts you'll need. Of you're looking at Pete's, I'd personally look at the 367 or 567. I currently run a 367 and love it. 285 WB on a factory 4 axle.
