yes, never disobey my pedal settings! 😆 I didn't mean you have to max the dist on the HM300 though, just the EQ controls, that way you can use the distortion of the Gehenna instead with the EQ flavor of the HM300 the HM300 distortion is very messy and fuzzy, which I love, but not everyone does, and you might find that using another pedal with it for a more normal distortion is more to your liking. the EQ is also extreme and not to everyone's taste, but that's the "HM-2 sound"

Cool video! Definitely try them the other way around: Gehenna as the preamp and then you can use the HM300 as a boost: level and EQs maxed out and then just turn the gain up every so slightly till it adds that extra bit of grind to the sound 😊

Was the setup Gehena- hm like an eq boost, or Hm - Gehena like a post amp eq?

The setup was based on the HM300 as a preamp, and the Gehenna as a boost/eq/shaping tool. Which is what I love using the GPA100 as it's just dry and loud... It does zero colouring and allows pedals to really shine.
