Lived in Brooklyn & NYC for 35 years. Among my fave moments were walking in the rain whether that be in Manhattan or in the various parks, esp Prospect Park in Brooklyn. The City which has so much vibrancy becomes even more vibrant in the rain. I cannot explain why - you just have to see it for yourself. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. @@Hallo81398 In my many years of living in NY, I became acquainted with many dozens of Europeans, a great many of them refugees from your wars. They love NY and the great freedom it gave them. None ever told me they would go back to Europe.

@@merccadoosis8847 oh yeah I guess you're right, there's europeans that would prefer living in NYC over getting bombed and living underground in a bomb shelter. But apart from that, i'm not seeing how NYC is a good city. The layout looks awful, there's no proper pedestrian-only city centre and very few parks. Expensive as hell on top of that. So what makes NYC good again. It doesn't even look pretty. Oh I guess the "multicultarism" - meaning there's chinese and indian restaurants or whatever. You have that everywehre
