The scorpion ship might be based on the Scorpion Battleship in EVE Online, which is a scorpion shaped ship focused on missiles.

@@narutofan4545 single cell organisms are all essentially the same, two similar planets allowing two similar animals to evolve is not an impossibility. Creatures evolve based upon tgeir sorroundings, similar surroundings beget similar animals.
