don't get me wrong, but i freaking love the parallax textures with the ENB on, but the snow in skyrim even with texture mods has always felt static to me, and i have seen mods that add footprints and that's also nice but i want to see fluffy snow, not only while walking on it, but also more depth in the snow, i want to see that effect when running in snow where it can function kind of like cloud but on the ground if that makes ant sense. there was a mod that did something like this back on LE but it was taken down by the mod author for some reason, idk why, but man that was an amazing idea and i have yet to see another modder try and recreate that effect.

That looks amazing, but I'm a bit saddened that the actual mod list is not publicly available anywhere, and can only be accessed inside "gated communities" that require joining. More and more, these days, information is kept from the public internet and secreted away in carved-out corporate fiefdoms that only members can access. People will say, "What does it matter that you need to sign up for Facebook and join this or that group to get at the information you seek? It's free** and _everybody_ has a Facebook account, right?" Just like everyone is _expected_ and _required_ to already have a Discord account, and Pinterest, and Instagram, and TikTok, and Twitter, and so on, and so forth. What if I don't want to keep up 20+ different accounts to gain entry to the 20+ different "walled gardens" that are carving up the internet? Yes, I am literally an old man yelling at _The Cloud_ - but wasn't the internet _better_ when search engines could still _find_ things, and could take you directly to the found pages, without being redirected to yet another mandatory login screen?

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. The magic that was skyrim modding has been lost to me in recent times with these wabbajack mod lists that I couldn't get into, ENB features and things about SSE that never felt integrated into the modding scene (SSE's volumetric lighting, terrain parallax, etc.) -- All I wanted was a simple list of Graphical mods to be able to enjoy the game again like it's 2014 and i'm running around with Opethfeldt ENB. But this is even better and more cohesive. I can't WAIT to experience my first playthrough with this setup after many years of having put the game down. Cheers friend, and happy adventuring!

Trying my hand at ENB based modding. Getting mixed results so far. Nights are too dark and the days are too bright (washed-out) on forest roads (Riverwood) - I probably included too many mods as many ask for additional installs during their setup wizards. In some cases, it looks more natural but not really playable in that state. I've also noticed my game runs between 60-45 fps on an RTX 4080 on a 4k monitor and monster PC (16-core/128 GB ram). Trying to use Loot and/or Vortex to set the load order - which isn't easy. Before this, I only installed standard patches, CC content, new followers, and a few quality of life/balance changes.

I just restarted to MOD Skyrim last night. I was only putting in environmental MODs before the game went tits up and wouldn't start. I had added the MOD Nature of the Wildlands. I kept getting a message that it was *_"missing it's masters"_* when I looked at it's _plugin._ But there was nothing I'd put into the list of some 30 already downloaded MODs, that was clashing with it or needed to be checked off when installing this mod. So my game wouldn't start with it and it wouldn't even start when I'd removed it 8-((... So I had to clear out all of the MODs that were downloaded and now I'm back to vanilla and looking for a new list of environmental mods to put into the game and that's when I came across you video.
