If I ever get a chance to play this I would reveal all the zeros, write the highest bid and award it to the player, then erase all other boards just so that once they get passed back there is no way the other players know what was bid.

You are not required to pay for your bids so you can bid whatever you want. At the end of the game every player totals how much they bid for all the tiles they won and the player who bid the most loses the game. So as in most auctions, ususally you want to bid the least amount that will win you the tile.

I can't understand why you all guyz have played it so stupid..? Martin after placing the 15.000 bid (25:30) was an instantly loser. All you had to do was bidding under (around) 1000 for the rest of the game. Am I correct or I didn't get all the rules?
