This is a fantastic video, thank you. I did notice, however, at 15:00 when thrust is being discussed again it would've been really helpful to be looking at thruster cards instead of the board. EDIT: Really needed to zoom in on those spaces on the board being discussed starting at 21:00.

Excellent rules teach video, much appreciated. Watching this again 2 years later for a rules catch-up and it's a great video for that too. Nice one.

It would be nice to see all this and the playthrough with the new components for better associative learning.

Sorry for slight necroposting But... idk. Even after many Eklund's game this teach, atleast from the start, was not an easy one. To me it suffer from same problem that I usually encounter in Phil's game - they like to deep dive into some bits of rules from the get go instead of layering some basic ideas first and then expanding on them. Just like there - yeah, we start from the map, but then we get overfixated on explaining how burns, landings and all that stuff works... but we doesn't even know WHAT we are trying to do, how we get fuel and when we start and how even we move to this burn spaces? So yeah, its interesting to hear and maybe this is important... but I don't know WHY this is important. So while it is an definitely an enourmous task to do this teaching and do them good, but sadly this is just not it. We don't start from beginning, we don't start from endgoal, we, for some reasons, start at midturn... very, very strange. I think that I would be better just going to gameplay and trying to parse it up from there. Again, sorry for necro and this attitude... maybe in your others takes on this game there was more newplayer-friendly teach, gonna check them out too :)

@ 47:35 I don't understand how the dry mass of the rocket increases just by removing fuel. I thought the dry mass generally represented the mass of the components of your rocket?

The fuel is moving from the fuel tanks to cargo space, hence it is no longer fuel but is part of the rocket

This game needs to be vastly simplified in order to be playable.

No, it doesn't. What you mean is that _for you_ this game would need to be vastly simplified to be playable _for you._
