It took me about 3 days to listen to this whole video. I couldn't stop for the last part where you talked about the church. I've watched both of your channels and never knew any of you was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I had wondered about Dave just because of the Utah connection. I found Dave when watching him work with Mike Patey, and got really interested when he started talking about his Blackhawk. I found Mike when looking at videos of his plane Draco. You guys are all awesome and you have warmed my heart with this video. I converted to the church at 20 years old, and as a single college student wasn't real active. When I got serious and started to truly convert a couple of years after my baptism, I met my wife within three months at a church dance at Arizona State University. We raised four kids, all grown up now, and have been married for 34 years. I spent 8 years flying Blackhawks in the Army and have been a commercial helicopter pilot since 2000. Now I'm a Bishop in Oregon and fly as an EMS pilot full-time. Thank you so much for sharing your testimonies. I started listening while I was on EMS duty just because I enjoy hearing stories about what people do and thought it would be fun to hear you talk to each other. I had no idea that it would end up with a discussion about the church. I have been really blessed to hear you guys and thanks for the fun content that you both provide. I can't wait to share this with my kids and friends.

As somebody who was (Don't want to say the word here, but rhymes with "Ma-Rested") by my youth minister when I was aged 11-13, I'm 36 now, haven't stepped foot in a church in almost 25 years, That end where you guys were talking about religion kind of opened my eyes to a lot. Maybe it's time I start opening my heart again to the idea of religion again. I shut my world down for so long I don't know anything else. It ruined my childhood, 14 years of addiction, no trust, etc. has been a tough life. I'm 7 years clean now. That conversation was deep, and really made me think. Thanks for that guys!

This is the first time I have commented on anything on KZbin. I listened to all 2.5 hrs and had to say, you guys are on point on so many subjects/levels and its awesome to see/hear you guys putting information like this out there. Even if it only helps a few it's worth it but I know it will help so many more as more people see/hear this content. I feel the same way about a lot that was discussed in the second half of this podcast and what I have noticed in life is things can happen that can veer you away from positive thinking. A lot of things in today's day and age can also flat out distract you from it or make you lose sight of it all together. However, its discussions like this that inspire and that's what a lot of people in this world need. A lot of people need to hear about the law of attraction or just how important positive thinking is and some ways to help stay/get on that path and I'm sure a lot that are like me that really needed a reminder about it. Because it was both inspiring and comforting to listen to you guys and be reminded and also see that there are more people out there that are on that path of thinking. You definitely have a new subscriber and Thank You guys very much, because seeing/hearing this podcast definitely helped me and I'm sure it did and will help others as well.

Regarding Nikola. I invested in the company back before the SPAC went through, bought VTIQ shares right when HeavyD talked about it on an Hooningan podcast. I held stock throughout the SPAC and everything. Until Nikola had the first brick party for the factory. Someone on 4chan went to the towns offices and turns out, Nikola did not even own the land for the factory, not even under a related company! I bought at $12 and sold at $70. Still to this day on of the most profitable trades. HeavyD claiming it was the work of a fund looking to short it... That bullshit man... Trevor's claims had so many holes in them. I'm a mechnical engineer and I was very impressed with the prototyping facility and the deals with IVECO sounded great. But I have eyes! D, quit the crap, Trevor ain't your friend! He used you!

School bus!!! Awesome content. Just figuring out at about age 60 that I have ADHD and trying to figure out how to get out of a slump and get things done. So thank you for all the great life tips!!! I had tried a few of them before short-term without realizing the purpose behind them, like the cold shower. Now that I understand a big part of it is just to make yourself do hard things and be uncomfortable, yet in little small accomplishable bites that I can envision. Then I can get the dopamine hits that I need to to help me continue those patterns and build on that, instead of the easier, negative life choices! God bless you all for what you are doing and sharing!🙏😘

Awesome interview. Hearing you guys talk about God and just knowing is so true. I survived a very serious accident 2 months ago and was extremely blessed to not have been paralyzed or killed. I walked away. In this time I've struggled with nightmares, sleep issues and struggles keeping up with business which leads to worse depression. However when I pray for guidance or just give thanks a calm washes over me I can't fully explain to anyone who hasn't experienced it. Good work and thanks for inspiration. School bus

As an evangelical Christian who grew up in the south I’ve always had a hard time understanding Mormons - Dave and Roman y’all really helped me realize the heart behind a lot of members of your church, I am reminded I should have more patience and love for people I disagree with on a theological level as I may miss out on knowing them and their life stories.

I’m Mormon. Grew up around nothing but evangelical Christians. No offense but I felt very discriminated against. I was told often by evangelicals who I thought were friends that I worshiped a different religion and was going to hell. I was told I was in a cult. Was told horrible things about men that I revered in my church. Really surprised me cause I never felt the same in return. How could they believe this when I tried my best to follow Christ, accept him as my savior, and be a good Christian. In fact most Mormons are incredibly open to other religions and we don’t believe you have to be Mormon to return to God. Anyway, glad you are more open than many I grew up with.

"Gospel is perfect. The church (people) isn't." ABSOLUTELY! I am Southern Baptist from age 6. My 26y.o. son has followed my footsteps into Children's Ministry and more. I still have two kids that are wandering in faith but they do have a strong foundation. This is also key to the music that makes me happy. Even my "angry music" is Skillet. I get my Primal Yelling out that way. Great show, guys!
