I'm a trainer assessor for a lot of earth moving and safety tickets. I don't know where you're from but its not so hard. Here in Australia you need a trainer assessor qualification and then talk to a registered training organisation. Of course takes a bit of natural ability to train classrooms full of blokes (and girls who are often rougher than the blokes), with theory presentations then go out on the machine for practical. I often actually use this video in Front End Loader training because its done so well and cos I last used this model Komatsu in a normal job lol

@@MW-cx3sbI am currently doing cert 3 in civil construction. Before I commenced the course I watched each of these tutorials on front loader, excavator, skid steer and roller. Our first practical was excavator. My instructor asked if I had hours on the machine because I knew pre start and controls. I told the truth and siad no, I just did my research. Even as a student I can identify who will gain a qualification and move onto a position in construction.

Much better than the loader I just learned on. Broken disconnected seat, run out pins that hold the hold the two halves together so the bucket sways 10 inches either way while trying to load a pickup, no reverse beeper, side mirror missing. I complained. Hey told me if I dont like it, go home. I went home. Buh bye, Courtland Landscaping in tillsonburg Ontario. Thanks for the tour of a real loader.

Wish i had seen your excellent videos before I had to learn to use one of these machines for some work im doing in the UK .I would definitely have to disagree with you though when you say your not an expert because you teach so well ,the guy showing me just sat in his pick up truck 20 feet away smoking cigarettes and mumbling the odd instruction in between taking calls on his mobile.I would have been furious if i had had to pay for this so called course.Thank you for the videos and keep up the great work.

I'll be operating a lil CAT 966 soon. Keep your load low as possible while pivoting and your floor level and hard. Dump your 1st load into the truck as low as possible slowly to protect the dump body and not shock the driver. Keep all movements as short as possible for quicker loading. Dump with your machine as straight as possible.

The company I work for uses loaders to put aluminum material into a rotary furnace. Sort of looks like a wider, shorter rotary concrete kiln. The entire operation, once the bucket is full, is overhead. Oh, and when loading up the bucket, many operators, if not most, put the front wheels up in the air as they move forward into the "charge bin" (the big stall where aluminum material such as chips or dross is temporarily kept). And on our biggest furnace, the charge bin is 180° from the furnace mouth

The challenge for a new B is setting your blade level to the floor, you dismiss it by saying you have red lines well the problem is my machine doesn't not much help on learning how to level the blade. Still good video man.
@joelsmith30094 жыл бұрын
There's usually something on the bucket which you can see from the cab and that will be level when the cutting edge is. Sometimes it's the flat part on top of the bucket itself. Sometimes it'll be pieces of sheet metal sticking out behind on both sides, and you have to reference the top of those to get your level. Look the bucket over really well and there should be something there to help you.

Very interesting. Just a few days ago I watched a KZbin video about operating a forklift. (I work at a hardware store and the staff often use forklifts to move and stock skids. Although I don't use the forklifts myself I was curious to see how they were operated. It's not very difficult especially for someone who already knows how to drive a car.) But I was surprised there were KZbin videos about operating wheel loaders as well. I thought people would only have access to training on actual construction sites (although I realize nobody would be allowed to operate a wheel loader without proper training - clearly watching a few KZbin videos wouldn't suffice).
@Protein33 Жыл бұрын
Driving a forklift is not the same as operating a car because the forklift is much heavier and can easily hurt someone or kill make sure you get the proper training before you ever touch one by someone who is certified.
