Coming from the U.S. I have my metric system all screwed up. Does brake horsepower mean to the wheels. How did you get the calculation of horsepower per ton. My car had 1,048 wheel horsepower and weighed 1,447 kg but was a 6 speed manual. So for every 3.04 lb was 1.0 whp. Thanks

That RS7 is rapid for sure!! I did not expect it to do so damn well! Insanely close races between it and the M5. Unlucky for the AMG, that last race shows how much potential it had to give the others hell.

Roughly the M5 has slightly better advantage on the top end. Audi had the advantage on the low end and managed to hold on for the win by a very slight margin in 1/4. I think the 1/2 mile the M5 would take it. Prob slightly faster from 100-190 mph but they are very close and comparable and it can come down to little factors who wins. Same car can have slight inconsistencies on each run, some runs near perfect and others less.

@@OviTube21 his take off timing was on point on every single run. It's a lot harder to do than you'd think. Also, launch control is taylored for a cars stock torque range. Meaning the driver probably had to do a bit of work to learn the sweet spot. (Of course there's a chance that the tune covers that too)

It's nice to see the RS7 at full potential for a change. Audi waters down their entire lineup such that: when stock, they pretty much get bodied on all drag races. That's because VAG doesn't like them competing with Porsche and Lambo which are coincidentally, more expensive. But the tunes and upgrades here show what this car is comfortably in M5 territory, and on the low end, it's even faster.

RS7 is a killer, looks, its fast, sexy world leading tech and interior, sportback design than ugly saloon. btw did you know the rs7 has the same chassis, engine, tcu, tech same as the Porsche panamera. AND YOU KNOW PORSCHE IS THE REAL DRIVERS CAR................... no bmw will come close when porsche steps in ahahahahaha

Amazing race and super close. We all know the M5 CS is faster than the RS7 stock for stock and in every other vid i've seen mod for mod as well. The standard M5 is a bit heavier so it makes sense the RS7 edged it out by a half car or so if that. Now take them around a track and let the M5 really shine. Not a 1 trick pony 😉

In reality m5 was faster on the roll, it did 100-200 in 5.7s vs rs7 at 5.9s, rs7 just slightly jumped it that’s why he edged him out.

Geez dude. No need to be a fanboy when numbers are given. The M5 did well and so did the RS7. Both won their respective races. But the only reason the stock RS7 is gapped so badly by the M5 is because (1) it's not the perfomance that competes with the CS and (2) it's purposely held back on the ECU. Not because it's weaker at all.

In LeMans audi won from 2000to 2012 a lot of races ,also in dtm ,audi was undefeated for a year against bmw. On street specs is different of course ,but on real race stats ,audi is way better ,and with dtm ,don't expect audi to be awd ,or bmw rwd , they must be the same in wd ,and audi has an S5 DTM with RWD
