At first when you talked about remapping Ctrl + KP2 to W I was a little worried as that is 2 inputs being reduced to 1 which in most scenarios is considered a macro, but considering that the curser in game is actually only moving once, as in only 1 input is being made IN GAME, technically it’s not a macro. It’s still 1=1 inputs in game which is all that matters

The way I used mousekeys back in the days was in combination with windows sticky keys. That way the ctrl key is always pressed and you just use the 2 and 5 key for mousekeys.

@@heboxjonge Checking the settings, sticky keys does have an option to hold down the modifier key indefinitely, so I suppose it should be equivalent. I think if you do something like that again in the future though, it would be safer to actually do it through sticky keys rather than a third-party program, since it kind of enters a grey area. The clarification Jmods made about mouse keys was "You may now only use your operating system's official default mouse keys program, unless it is to remap a key to any other button. If we find evidence of you using other forms of mouse keys in game, we will take action against your account", so using your keyboard software to do the rebinding from 1:2 keys "technically" goes against that, even if it's functionally equivalent to using sticky keys. I know it's pedantic, but better safe than sorry.
