Shabbat shall fellow hebrews! I am a 12 year old but I did it ALL WRONG! I just fasted for the whole day I had no idea that we had to do sacrifices and reflect on our hearts! I also had school that day. It wasn't that tough since I asked the most high Yah for strength and endurance so that I can fast throughout the day. But Know I know for next year. Thank you for making this video because without this proof I have been doing it wrong I would have been doing it wrong for a long time. The feast day is on day nine Lev. 23:32 part one of atonement . Day 10 is the day of atonement. I was told that it is a day of fasting and repenting. Which is true?

It is a day to afflict ourselves and fasting is the chief way of afflicting ourselves. Think about it, Can we really afflict ourselves and be feasting on food at the same time? No we cannot. The Day of Atonement is NOT a feast day(chag). It is a Moed (appointed time). There are 3 feasts - Unleavened Bread, Shavuot, and Tabernacles. The other Days like Trumpets and Atonement are Appointed times but not “Feast” days. Simply put, these are Appointed times but every appointed time is not a feast.

I have a question. How do we know the appropriate time for feast days as the times have been changed. The Georgian calendar isnt appropriate to use and i dont want to listen or go with the revelation 2.9 ppl days as they are a big reason for the conflict. Shalom, the scriptural formula for determining YHWH’s Appointed times is based on Genesis 1:14-18 - we look for the first moon of the year (Exodus 12:2, Deuteronomy 16:1) which is determined by the first visible new moon in Jerusalem on or after the Tekufah (Strong’s # 8622) or circuit of the earth around the sun (Spring equinox), Simply put, the first New Moon of Spring. Every new month for the rest of the year is also determined by the sighting of the new moon in Jerusalem. This is the way it was observed by Moses, Yahsharal as a nation, Yahusha, and His apostles.
