Soferet means counting, I am counting upto/until 3. If you want to know the meaning of any Hebrew word like this, you can make use of Pealim, it will give you all the conjugations as well. It is super helpful. For example, Soferet + Pealim. Hope it helps.

The reason why learners of any language cannot become fluent despite several years of study is because they have spent years listening to overly-enunciated single words by teachers. This leaves them totally unprepared for rapid spoken and listening forms of natural conversation, with its contractions, elisions and omissions.
