You are right about one thing in this lazy comment of yours, and that is, Damina is telling his own story which is different from what is in the Bible. Damina himself ought to be careful about people who sing the praise of heretical teachers. The passages in Hebrews and Peter are not ambiguous to understand. God spoke through or by prophets in the past simply means the message was not owned by man (Did not originate from man), but from God. God only delivered His message to the fathers through the instrument of men. We can rightly say, men conveyed these messages using their vocabulary so that other humans can understand the message. This is why Peter says that the origin is not the will of man - the message is beyond man, it is owned only by God. Man was also not permitted to thinker with the original message even though he delivered it in his language for purposes of understanding by other men. Just picture a postman conveying a letter from one origin to destination - not the best of examples though, the postman is forbidden to tamper with the message, but is allowed to use the best means of getting the letter across. 'The events that we call the scriptures' according to Damina, are they man's events or God's event (His will) delivered through or by men? Without the inspiration, would any man have been able to come up with it? If the events did not originate from God but men, why did the Holy Spirit inspire these men to write their own event? The above questions which are not exhaustive, if answered will help shed more light.

When the writer said God spike by the Prophets, it simply means the Prophets spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:21 [21]For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. I've listened to and found many of his teachings on point and interesting. But this one is just an over-explanation of simple and straightforward verses. All his verbal gymnastics doesnt shed any more light on those verses than is already there...or maybe this video extract doesn't do sufficient justice to the entity of the message.

Very typical of Damina who i think is ferociously seeking attention which is the oil that fuels his ego. Damina who is 2000 years plus away from the Apostles and disciples of Christ Jesus who heard Him speak, and put down what is now called the new testament is telling his listeners that these original writers who wrote being inspired of the Holy Spirit made mistakes that he Damina is correcting. In essence he Damina is the standard and not the Scriptures. People out there, be very careful of the winds of doctrine blowing across the globe cos we are in the last (have been in the last days) and as prophesied by Christ Jesus and His Apostle, there will be False Teachers in the last days (there have been and there are False Teachers since the eternal clock hit the LAST DAYS).

@@UNITYOFFAITHTV I am replying this because I owe you the duty to do so. But note that I am very busy at the moment, so I will use simple earthly things as an answer for you. Hopefully, you will see the light. I see that you worship someone who speaks King James version of English and attempts to explain every word of his/her sentence. Little wonder, you quote scriptures out of context - what David said has nothing to do with Hebrews 1 and doesn't mean that God spoke only once. Do a better study of the word of God my friend. God spoke so many times in scriptures which can be seen in both what we refer to as the old and new testaments. Jesus in John 12:47-50, said he never spoke of his own accord, but that the Father (God) who sent him commanded him to say all that he said. If I may ask, how did the Father command him on what to say? Of course through speaking to Jesus, and if through speaking, how many times would the Father have commanded him through speaking? Hebrews 1 simply tells you about how God sent messengers (servants) to deliver His (God's) message (words) to the forefathers. Now let me ask you a simple question, when a messenger delivers a message, is he/she the owner of the message? Of course not, the message will always be that of the Master/Lord who sent his messenger. Thus, Hebrews 1 is very true when it says, God spoke through the prophets, but in the last days, He has spoken through His Son. The parable in Matthew 21, Luke 20, and Mark 12 about the wicked Husbandmen will help you understand it better. I cannot give all the passages of scriptures where God spoke, but the are much - in fact all scriptures is God breathed and that is why the Bible makes sense, if not, there won't be coherence at all. However you are right by saying Jesus completes, fulfilled the messages spoken through the prophets in the past. The prophets were used to lay the foundation and Jesus was the completion of the building so to speak.
