"Faith COMETH by hearing and hearing by the word of God". Notice that faith COMETH from God. It is NOT of ourselves, "lest any man should boast". Faith is also named as part of the "Fruit OF the Holy Spirit" - again it is NOT of human origin, but BY the Spirit of God.

This is quite stunning to see how cunning some heavenly creatures of God could be. I wonder where was the faith of this liar was, when he was crying, begging someone that, in all likelihood, doesn’t seem to exist for him. If he has had any respect for that one he was apparently crying to for help, when he had a very good taste of his own medicine, he would never have been where he was to begin with, he was only there, as a payback for his monstrous stupidity and cruelty. If, indeed, God had a son in him, he would would never had envisioned to topple him, if only he knew he could have had succeeded. Who does he believe in, himself? If his faith is that good, he might need to stop hiding under some fake appearances where nobody knows who he is, he might to show up in full glory, so everyone knows it is him. Maybe, this time, dad, would have honored his request for good.
