All in all very enlightening. However, does not 4:1 speak to fear although you said read it as not to fear? Or, am I missing something? Thank you.

I'm sorry, will you help me to understand? I recently came across an interpretation of this chapter saying that Jesus is our Sabbath and I have been trying to get a better understanding of this chapter and if it is true what that would mean. Does that mean we don't keep Sabbath? Does that mean we still do? Even after listening to this video I still feel a little confused. 😔

Yeshua/Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. He created it. So Sabbath must be the Lords Day. He is our rest / payment from sin and death and the curse of death right? Rest from slavery of World, Flesh and the Devil. Our rest from people thinking they can earn salvation instead of His free gift of salvation. And as Baruch said He is our Living rest today, everyday and definitely when we receive His gift of the blessed 7th day Shabbat and His coming 7th day millennial rest. Does this help? The enemy originally said “Did God say that?” So you see our adversary wants to rob Gods people from the rest and blessing of the 7th day. Can you worship everyday as a living sacrifice? Yes and amen! Is there a 7th day that God blessed for man to faithfully set aside the tasks of the week, it’s wordly demands and assemble with our families in the Word? Yes and Amen! Can we do the Fathers will of healing and setting people free and rescuing the lost and broken on Shabbat! Yes and Amen! This is His will! Does this make sense?

@@DedicatedtoYAH Thank you for your detailed response, but after much prayer and consideration, and tons of reading and research into biblical theology and history, I have become Catholic, hahaha. I used to be very anti-Catholic. No, I don't think we, as a new creation, observe the 7th day Sabbath the same way anymore. We're a new creation, we have entered a new week. We're on the 8th day. The Jews were circumcised on the 8th day of life and now we are baptised into Jesus and made new, our hearts circumcised, and we enter the 8th day, the day Jesus rose from the dead. This is where I stand and this is where I stay. Let's pray for each other. Much love.

why is your translation of verse 1 different from that of the bible? In the bible it says "Let us fear then!", but in this video it was translated "Therefore we fear not ever."

It should be clear to a mature Christian that to obey the works given by the Messiah, requires faith, thus faith mixed with, and only with HaShem’s commandments produce a living faith. Here, HaShem’s rest is a rest from his creative work, and that rest continues to occur from the end of Day Six in Genesis 1 to the present. The key to understanding this is to recall that we are made in the image of HaShem, not the other way around as we tend to do. A Jew, one of your own people, Albert Einstein proved that time is relative. The clocks in HaShem’s house are not the same as our clocks on Earth, and the clocks in the Land of Eden run on a different time scale than the clocks in Sheol.
