I brought my own with me but the directors decided to invest in the same mouthpiece as mine without the adapters this year for most of the first mellos

W MELLOS!!! Btw, I love you Hebron!!! Best marching band fr 🔥💯🗣️ I go to SHHS, the “home of the Hilltoppers” (super stupid mascot. wtf even is a Hilltopper?) and I look up to yall so much. I also play mello during marching season. I’d kill to be in the Hebron marching band. GO HAWKS!!! (That’s your mascot, right? If it isn’t pls correct me lol. I had to look it up 😭😭)

NGL, I played mello for 3 marching seasons and COULD NOT march and play AT THE SAME TIME. Still haunts me to this day and I'm 35. I was section leader my last two years and was even first chair in wind ensemble sophomore year but useless in marching band other than my strong visual performance as noted by the staff. It is still a great mystery how it is humanly possible to play and march at the same time and make is sound like you aren't moving and aren't out of breath. I just don't understand.
