Thanks for sharing this, although the process in GeoHECRAS is way smoother because of its integration with Civil3D. The video really helped me with my project!

does the surface need to have special configuration or something? when i import my *.geo HEC-RAS it doesnt show anything..

AutoCAD is not exporting my data correctly. The GEO file is missing most of the river coordinate information (BEGIN STREAM NETWORK AND REACH CENTERLINE). For both of those data sets, the first coordinate is present; however, the rest of the coordinates (151 pairs total) are just 0s. Any ideas? Thanks

Does the stream CL need a sample line too? Is that the problem? It is an alignment.

Two questions 1. With the changes in the HEC-RAS Import Export in C3D 2013 is the process shown in the video still necessary? 2. Is the HEC-RAS Flipper software needed to make this whole thing work? As it is no longer available as of March 2013 I don't want to spend the time watching this if that is the case.

Hi, when I import, it brings in my cross section data but the cross sections aren't showing up along my alignment. What is causing this? Does anyone else know what is happening?

Hi,, for steady flow in reach boundry condition while I putting number into dowstream and upstream value, it turns automatically exact number. For example when I put 0.03 and I press 'ok' it turns 3. or I put 0.0017 it turns 17 same way. Also I realize no difference between 0.3 0.03 or 0.043 the program turns all automatically 3. What is the problem? Thanks.

I follow this and once I import, my cross sections dont show, I get an error message "XS's are out of reach bounds" ...any guidance?
